The amount of rabble, rabbling about not using windoze and how evil and bad it is, has been going on since the beginning of its inception. I remember hearing this kind of noise as far back as window 95. Its an evil conglomerate corporation, and everyone is eager to shout to the high heavens about its exploits and ill practices. I am not arguing any of it, I haven’t the slightest idea of what kind of things they are into, nor am I even the slightest interested, to know.
I have always used windows growing up, I started out on DOS with win3.11, and onward from there to windows 11. I have never owned a Macintosh, and have briefly gotten my feet wet with linux. Its been the native operating system to me, and for better or worse I don’t see it ever changing. Well unless linux can get leverage in the corporate world, and start getting suitable support for all gaming and software.
I do like linux, it runs 110% better than windows, and it its fully customizable, and very easy to use and get comfortable with. That being said, it just doesn’t get priority help in terms of gaming and software. And even in the talk of plug and play, peripherals.
I say all of this, that while windows is not ideal, it can be manipulated and beaten down into submission to behave rather well. This video alone and the software included are very good start, and useful tools. I myself I run a hybrid version of win11 its called “ghost spectre”.
I am not telling you what to do, but I am saying, you have options. Whether it be linux or windows, just be aware of what you are getting into, and what you are most interested in doing on the computer in the first place.
