I cannot believe he is gone. I suppose this is officially the testimony of time and one of the sad realities of life and getting older. I am going to miss him, a great deal. It still doesn’t feel real to me.
None of my grandparents from my dad’s side are around anymore. And now all the remains is my grandma from my mom’s side. She survived him, I pray she is doing well.
Not sure when the funeral will be, but it could be as soon as next week.
He was a veteran, a teacher and a counselor. A man devoted to God and the church.
It didn’t matter the situation or the need, if I called him on the phone he was always eager and willing to help. That was just the nature of him, and I am sure it was no different with anyone else. Truly a man of integrity and most of all one after God and a servant of Christ.
