It not unlike anything else, is become a fad/fashion and a trend. Its no longer a underground or marginalized or even considered niche. Its a fascination and a monopoly to make money.
When I was originally into this music, it was purely spite and rebellion. But what started out as mere rebellion. Slowly did develop into a genuine interest and love for harder iterations of metal music. This even stretched out into punk and hardcore.
What I find amusing is that I am now witnessing and seeing an overwhelming female population, of “fans”. Not unlike gaming, or anime. I’ll admit, when I was dating, I would see my love interests, gravitate towards my interest of music. And today I see it working much in the same order. Whether they are genuine fans or just seeking monetizing or “love”, is anyone’s guess. Nothing is more corporate and disgusting then sex and rock n’ roll, but now instead of rock its in death metal or all things.
And no, I do not believe this music is exclusively a male genre of music. But for crying out loud, its much akin to dungeons and dragons at its inception. If this music was bringing in the babes, that is news to me.
Listen don’t get me wrong, I love Butchered at Birth and other classics as much as the next guy. But to say this genre of music, is what it was, or is becoming anything other than a cash crop and a circle jerk, you are dead wrong.
And its a no brainier, why its obsessed with satanism and the hatred for Christianity.
I am seeing now more people affiliated with the lgbtq and the left political circles and ideologies than ever. I will not defend this slop or affiliate myself with it anymore.
I will however openly endorse and support anti-demonic and openly CHRISTIAN bands and artists.
