The source of contention is religion, and it’s the specific kind, the one that demands a healthy body to bow, meanwhile desiring healthy hands and offering plates. Its the pharisee kind, and I think any one living today in 2025 can start to see it, crystal clear.
This world does have a moral dillema about death, and its disturbing to say the least. I too was once a person who actually was interested in assisted suicide and considered it as a last resort option for myself. I am not necessarily opposed either.
I watched a movie last night, it was called “the Sadist” of all things, lovely title no? it was a hillbilly psycho and his love interest, terrorizing everyone they came in contact with. Well the movie, does begin harmless enough, but after a while those two psychopaths come into contact with three innocent people, and thus begins the movie.
During my time watching this film, something came into my mind that never has before when concerning good people and dying. And it was actually my disgust with the gravitating and latching claws to life. You see in this film, a moral dillema occurs, and the person with the gun does get a lust for killing. So much so, he decides that he is in fact going to kill one of the three people.
It is of course the older man of the bunch, and there is really nothing anyone can do about it. The two younger people cowar in the corner, while the man with the gun finally does shoot the old man in the head.
The most disturbing part of this whole scene was the fact that the old man would even try to contest his life, over the other two younger people. His time was up, but he screamed and cried, and even got downright pathetic, so much so that he was willing to jeapordize the safety of his own family, to relenquish funds from his bank account to give to those lunatics.
Life is not guaranteed, what is, is death. And if you know Christ, you are going to be with your maker, and free from this maze on earth.
Herein does lie the moral dillema I mentioned before. Do human’s have the right to end another person’s life?
And furthermore, why do we have more moral gratitude and convenience to criminal offenders than unborn children?
One thing about myself, is that I do have my faculty’s. I can dress myself, I can bathe on my own, use the toilet, feed myself. You name it, its not too hard a task for me.
You better believe if I get to the point where I need another set of hands to use the toilet, I would rather that a suitable option like possibly, “a way out”, be offered.
What is the purpose of a person “living” in a vegatative state?
And what is the reason for those who are in delitating and unending pain and unresolved horrors to their own life?
And for cryingg out loud before you go on and thinking I am signing up for this shit, please think harder! no of course I don’t assisited suicide. But I do see a world around me now, that is not finding much of a solution in the terms of life and death.
I watch the movie old yeller, and I know what happens with a lame and wounded horse. Some poor bastard has to walk out with a shotgun and END THEIR MISERY.
And I know this will sound morbid to a large majority of you, but these decaying humans on the streets. Who would rather walk and behave like zombies with drool hanging out of their mouths, than admit they have a problem. I think its time that they get a reality check, or maybe a kind soul could possibly put them out of their misery.
