He did share some insight and knowledge in the appeal of the genre, and why it is attracting so many people to it.
I think at the underbelly there is a bit of a taboo and a fetishizing about the japanese and asia in general. When you grow up in america, the mind loves to fantasize and manipulate circumstances and scenarios for perverse reasons. Its been the devil’s handiwork since the beginning of the time.
Being blunt, and crystal clear. I simply love good art and entertainment. And whether it comes from asia or here in america, I am no shy about sharing my love and interest in it. But it doesn’t make much sense, for americans to have this unhealthy obsession with it.
There is plenty of entertainment home grown in america that is great, and fun to watch and enjoy. The only issue now is, what is the message behind the show?
Growing up the fundamental basics of reality were plainly made simple and easy to understand. While manipulated and circumvented through rude and arrogant and evil siblings or people obsessed with death and hell.
