Sleepheed global space shooter megaCD/segaCD and Playstation 2

Slipheed wasn’t a game I got initially when I purchased a sega-cd but when I played it recently, it did something few games are capable of doing, and that was making the experience feel something otherworldly, or completely out of my element. And what is most interesting about this, is that it was done at such an early stage in gaming.

Much of my sega cd collection were blind picks, and nothing specific in mind. I had a good number of the cheesy fmv games, but also had rpg’s like Vay.

I am honestly, in shock that our current gaming industry isn’t even fully utilizing the hardware capabilities of the past generations. Technology isn’t something, I am very aware of its capabilities or lack thereof. But I just feel like gaming in the past, it was more sophisticated and mature. Whereas today, we have games that remakes, forced and rushed projects.

Just what I need more interest and ambition into gaming, as if I wasn’t already obsessed enough with it.
