I was not doing my due diligence and I got a bad virus that has now corrupted my computer and compromised my security. I have noticed a line of events that have all occurred after identifying these viruses on windows defender.
Its been hell dealing with it. And the worst Ive seen so far is them using my amazon account to try and purchase a item off of amazon. I was certain that my steam account was completely sabotaged, but fortunately I was able to recover that account. So far no losses. But its pins and needles, because I have no idea who the hell might have access to my computer.
This is exactly the reason why I wanted to get into cyber security for a career. Because I am interested in knowing the ins and outs of this.
My life revolves around the computer and the internet, so having the computer being compromised is a big hit to me.
If I continue to notice accounts and the like being used or passwords being changed. I will go forward with reformatting and just start off again on a clean slate. I do have a lot saved here, but I can recover from it.
Currently I am working to overhaul the lost content from the past and bring it back to the page. Its something that I am doing on the side, its not fun and its long and repetitive. But I will hopefully soon, have the page back to its original state. What you see here now, is all from present and current. But there are years of content, that are still lost, and thankfully to the web archive, I should be able to recover it from there.
