They are too involved in the gaming space. They are mixing their love of the game and its a job, a career. It should go without saying, that its not a good idea to be involved in the actual product that you are trying to sell to the public. Your own interest in the game conflicts itself with the game.
This is the whole idea around seperating life and social things, from work and career. Your mind and your priorities need to be focused on whatever project or function you are into.
I could nitpick about the way the game is very overtly sexual, and it borders into pornography. I could go into this more, but it sets me up for conversations, that I am not interested in neither having or entertaining, its toxic environment and I know better than to feed flames.
The biggest thing that pisses me off about black desert is that it goes over the top almost to the point of just devestating and humilating the competition. But what they refuse to consider or take any interest in, is the fact that, the game is built and focused around doing arbitrary, chores and rummaging, and life and simulation and blah blah blah. They are literally trying to throw in the whole blender into this titanic, and then they insist on books and journals and quests and side this, side of that. And you know what? I cannot and will not keep doing it. Its been a somewhat fun 4-5 years of that game, hardly more than casual at it. That game has more potential than any other video game I can think of, and to watch them, operate and function that trainwreck the way they do, is painful! but there aint no shot in hell, I will ever be able to work for them, especially, after writing this.
Needless to say, the game has become a soap opera and its just dramatic and chatty and not fun. Its less of a video game. And more of a life sim or some shit, I really dont know. It does have a video game in there, and I do like the video game parts of it, but if they could just get their head out of their asses and figure out what genre or focus they want to pinpoint, because if they could narrow it down, it would make for a better game I think for everyone.
More soapbox ranting, I dont know I am in some kind of mood. I just let the fingers do the talking. Hey its a free world, dont let me shy you away from doing the same damn thing yourself! but it is the internet, and you never know who may come across your website and read what you wrote.
