This will be the final and last update until its finished or released.
I was extremely discouraged and let down after finding out from the shiro web site that they have known and been in contact with a person who is already translating the game. And he is from what I under over 60% done with it.
Let me make something clear, my time, while not always productive is important to me.
I do not enjoy working on things that benefit me nothing.
And in the case of the Cyber Doll translation, I made myself aware and known that I wanted to not only translate it, but be a source of help if nothing else. That being said, both shiro web site and the segaxtreme have banned me and completely excommunicated me.
And as a fact of the matter of most people in the video game circle online have done the same. I am not appreciated and am definitely not in the least bit encouraged or desire to have any of them around me at all anymore. They are disgusting and malicious people.
So with all of that drama and gossip out of the way. I do have some english images to share, and this project may or may not be done by January as intended. Whatever the case, there is another guy who is doing the project, and he will no doubt have his done before me. I have already started the work, and it would be pointless to quit now, especially since there is no official release available.
Let me make something apparent, that when I started this project the folder was maybe 2gb in size. And now its over 50gb in size. I have done more trial and error, and as a result, I have a large collection of arbitrary files and hiccups.
For once now, I am actually now getting into the thick of it, and am actually starting to translate. But now I am doing so from a reliable version and copy of the game. My only concern is how reliable and “good” the translation will be because I am using 3rd party sources such as a google translate to translate the text.
I cannot and will not be left to the task of manually translating text myself. My knowledge of japanese is next to nil.
