back from my time in adult daycare

The following the day of using that phone as a hotspot, I was alerted that I was about 20% to going over my “unlimited” data. Add to the fact they wanted $95. After paying for the month and the ridiculous price of the phone. Needless to say the service was cancelled and the phone was returned.

I just now got a 5g gateway, its $60 a month and so far I am happy with it. I am crossing my fingers that I’ll be able to hang onto it.

As for my absence? I was picked up on warrants. I find it ironic that that post the day before, I divulged into details about jail, and wouldn’t ya know it?! I ended up back in that concrete hell hole.

I do have a temper problem, and it was overwhelmingly made apparent while incarcerated. But something in jail, made me aware that this is not a isolated issue exclusive to myself. See the male animal, is the leading sufferer of it. Woman are not exempt either, especially in this day and age. I think as a whole society and humanity as a whole, is all at their boiling point.

While in jail, I went through the Proverbs, read Habakkuk and was reading the book of Acts.

My take away from all of this? well for starters silence is something of a virtue, and a wise pursuit, especially for believers.

I know when I would have a temper tantrum, and I would find people go silent, it was frustrating and almost felt antagonizing. But when you are doing nothing but causing derision and offense, what other option is there? do you want to bark at each other, or keep your peace?

Aside from the bible, I did read a good number of books. Most notably are the following:

  • Rogue Lawyer -Grisham
  • Dracula -Bram Stoker
  • the Sex Life of the gods -Michael Knerr
  • Jackson’s Gymnastics for the Fingers and Wrist -Edwin W Jackson
  • the Couple Next Door -Shari Lapena
  • Resist Not Evil -Clarence S. Darrow
  • I Heard you Paint Houses -Charles Brandt
  • Natural Law in the Spiritual -Henry Drummond
  • the Idiot -Fyodor Dostoevsky

I had no idea, that I could enjoy fiction and novels, like this. My history with books, is generally in favor of non-fiction versus fiction. But now, I am finding myself more entertained with fiction than television and movies.

I know for certain that the Idiot, was initially an intimidating read. But once I got into it, I found myself hooked and drawn to the conversations and stories shared throughout it. Reading the tales shared from the young prince, or Lev Nikolayevich Myshkin, where very vivid and imaginative in my mind. I wouldn’t be the least be surprised if these were real world accounts from Fyodor himself.

I read A LOT! this is only the books and things that I managed to copy down on paper. I started many different books and things on the jail tablet, and didn’t finish them all. My interest in Natural Law and Christianity, was stemmed largely due to the facts of the unpredictable nature and reality of life.

I did approach every situation and scenario in jail as an opportunity to share Christ and the bible. Most of which was shut down, with the typical, “no politics/religion” jargon, in which sadly I am now realizing is not just online but also in real world.

I find it funny that people can easily gravitate and borrow/cherry pick from Christianity, but never take any of it seriously.

This post is very sporadic and random and is going in many different directions, I am not the least bit surprised. I just wanted to update and let you all know what is going on.
