Documentary on Digital Pictures

Known largely due to his Sega Saturn reviews, PandaMonium never one to cut corners on quality content. Has put together what might possibly be the biggest and most ambitious effort yet. An almost 8 hour long documentary on Digital Pictures.

Digital Pictures was an older developer who was responsible for a majority of the full motion video games that were becoming popular largely due to the Sega-CD. You could also find these games on the 3DO and CD-I. The fmv genre of gaming was shortly lived and didn’t really ever take off.

But I can say for a fact, nothing impressed me more as a kid than seeing this kind of technology melding together with video gaming.

I still fondly remember trading my NES and games into Funcoland and trading it all for a Sega Cd. The add-on for the Genesis came packed with Sewer Shark and Willy Beamish. This was my introduction to this kind of game, and the rest is history.

For those like me who grew up during this time, this footage and content will definitely be a pleasure to watch.
