the UofM Wolverines vs the MSU spartans
Sports are fun, its when you are playing them. Watching them on the other hand, its kind of watching the clock turn, till the next quoter is over. I am not much of a athlete if at all. My greatest achievements, are mainly doing stupid shit and coming out alive. My body has been through hell, literally. Torn distal bicep, shoulder replacement surgery, dislocated elbow. I even managed to fail riding a bmx bike on a dirt ramp, and broke my arm as a kid. I was a whiney little bitch, right chad? I think I recall it exactly like that. Its all just noise at this stage in life, I don’t care, about verbal slips of the tongue and berating rituals, its life. Its a reality, and we all have to go through it, but some people have to go through more shameful things to get out of the rut they are in. That sounds like me, alright.
Regardless, of my upbringing and what has happened to me throughout it, I am still here in this hollow husk, with a spirit and soul, and its starting come alive. This life and world around me is only by the grace of God and the surrendering of my life to the lord Jesus Christ. I don’t owe an ounce or a gram, or pound…. nope quantity of weight could ever come close to the change that Christ has made in my life. It was a surrender, and a new obedience to the living scriptures and that has brought me to the point I am at now.
Still shuffling my feet, still rubbing shoulders, and trying to keep my chin high in a world that would rather see me laying down and dying, and be in pain and misery. But there is no sympathy for anyone, that doesn’t get on their own two feet and start accepting the reality of life conquering it.
And so tonight, I am excited to see a hopefully winning game for MSU football. This rivalry between the Spartans and the wolverines has been a constant and winding number of conversations, mostly in my experience the favor going to UofM. And me being a native of Lansing, have no idea, why anyone would cheer or want a team that isn’t even in the same town that they live. I have always loved MSU, not for anything else than the fact that its a celebrated and used school in my town and city. That university has been here since back in the days when my grandparents, went and studied at it. Not me though, I went to school of hard knocks, and got my GED and hopefully soon my A+ certification, to get my foot in the door with IT.
I have not a iota or ounce of anger or hate towards anyone, other than sin. I have become overwhelmingly, conflicted with a problem, and now I know, it is indeed a evil, isn’t the sport of football, its something that goes back before even the invention of the game itself, see this kind wizardry was made back in times of when satan and God where ruling this universe.
I am a otherwise pretty happy person, as long as I know myself and my family are safe and living well, ,I am ok with the world at hand and around me. But that doesn’t mean things are perfect for me, or any of them. Or even for you the reader, if you are looking for a solution, you can find it through prayer discipline and dedicated bible reading. Its not a over night event, but it can happen and you will experience change, if it comes from your heart, but you have got to want it, and that isnt up to me, or your friends, or maybe even your own family, its an individual choice you as a person have to make. No government, no signing anything, its a bond a declaration that you make with your creator God in heaven. And believe me, He is real, and He will reveal Himself to you, not at the drop of a dime, but with faith patience and knowing the abc’s of the psalms and proverbs, you will get yourself moving right along in a good direction.
Tonight whether MSU wins or loses, I do hope that it ends with peaceful results and not a chaotic assault on our town and land. Because believe it or not, alcohol and tolerance are a thing, and when you start casually consuming too many beverages, one after another, the world starts spinning and satan starts winning. I am not a buzz kill, I am simply stating facts, keep a cool head, and enjoy yourselves but most of all celebrate your life and your friendships, with family or with distant or close people.
Take care of yourself and each other. Honestly if you ask me, a lot of the drugs that are supposed to help you psychology, are the most harmful to your health overall. Its best to just get good rest, eat a normal routine diet, exercise regularly, work and allow yourself some leisure time. Its not rocket science, but with the demand of jobs, and the tip toeing around people, who think you did this and that, it gets intimidating. But you have a world of resources now, and especially now with AI and the searching tools on the internet, everything can be answered and addressed.
But one question that cant be answered, is the one who is controlling this show, and pulling the strings. Life does have an order and a necessary, system, to keep it operating with purpose and balance. We are in a trap, and that is with God, satan and fires of hell and gates of heaven. This life and world is more than meets the eye, some things are hard to be explained with words.
So buckle up buttercup, tonight we have a battle of the millennia, are brutal divider between wolverine and spartan. Whether greek or person of interest in the creature the wolverine itself, this might just be an opportunity to see some magic happen.
