Favorite tracks include: Whom Shall you Serve, Darkness Remains and Commanded to Kill among many others!
Quite possibly one of the most anticipated releases of the year. And for good reason, in company are some of my favorite metal musicians particularly Godwin and Lindquist. But that isn’t to say the new guys aren’t a welcoming addition, I just haven’t a clue about their past work.
While it wasn’t the swansong en route to their demo days of Embodyment. It has satiated an itch, that I have always otherwise always had for their later works and efforts. Especially the Famine and Embrace the Eternal.
I really love their lyrics, always have. And this release is no different. They are interwoven social and societal commentary that does indeed examine and represent the need and necessity for Christ.

Not unlike the Famine, this is still working its magic on me. But its very well polished and executed. The vocals are not your typical death metal low gutturals. More angry barking, almost even melodic at times. The guitars sections show their maturity and chops unrelenting and vicious. There are moments on this, especially on Commanded to Kill, that I thought I might be listening to a cannibal corpse album.
Very solid and ambitious release. And as far as christian metal is concerned this album definitely sets the bar mightily high. I really hope these gentleman keep this momentum going, and continue with a few more releases, before the 2nd coming.
