This game caught me off guard. I saw it free in epic game center, and I was not at all interested in looking into it. But after quitting black desert, I was looking for another mmo adventure, to go on while I rummage around the week in my routine fashion.
What I disliked so much about bdo was to my surprise, all but a mere memory when I got into Raven II. See in Raven the game does dedicate a great deal to optimizing and helping the player get the necessary routine paths and abilities to get their progress. And this is fine, let time do it its task, and spontaneity be the work that will prelude this game.
Raven is not finished from what I can see, but what is here it is enjoyable. And it does have a nice game environment and atmosphere to enjoy. It does lure you in with it sexual tactics, yes they do display lurid images and things that entice players. Lust and sexuality are things so much engrained and bombarded now into the common world. I am a Christian man, and I do take it serious that our flesh is like a beacon and a necessity to fight against lust and foolish thinking is definite.
Its not a bad looking game. It plays well, and it moves at a good pace. The enhancing is painful and slow, and very costly and consequential, as is everything else in the game! its huge! its very unforgiving. And yes, if you fold out a wad of $100’s it will help make your journey much easier than others.
I am interested in playing but not paying to win, I am into seeing how well I can play without using the aid of physical income. I am only level 44 now. But I hope to be 60 soon. With Aion2 on the horizon, this might very well be my next time gate until then.
Lastly I want to say, and most importantly that this game does help the player with automation. It allows you to leave it to auto attack mobs and gain xp/gold and gears/items etc. this was not something I was too keen on at first. Because I thought to myself, what the hell is the point of a game, that I am not playing? well, as such it is, it is actually nice and very accomodating, and it allows me to work and do what I need to on my computer, and it lets me be entertained at the same time at the progress of my character in Raven. If you are wanting to tackle Rifts? or do some world bosses? maybe even cause havoc against other guilds in PVP, you are welcome to join me here.
