are games $pay$ to play?

The answer in summary is Y E S. You are going to have to gavel at the hump if you want to compete with people who have endless hole in their pockets, so its better to find an alternative private server or to boycott the big boys’ business altogether. Because while I found myself having a helluva a good time playing AoS pvp, I am hard robbed on the fact that, I’ve invested much money/hours/energy/etc. into this nihilism simulator. Please gut out of the monopoly already, and give us a environment game that is fluid and rewarding, for those who are authentically trying to play and compete and not just some stubborn rich ass hole who wants to brag to his cohorts.

This crystal situation with black desert is only the tip of the iceberg as far as I am concerned, their game travels across much more Jank and unnecessary filler just to bombard the player with a bunch of nonsense that I think 95% of the player base would much rather avoid or not enjoy at all. If I want to immerse myself in a actual enjoyable RPG experience, I will do so in the genre itself, it’s almost 2025 I think we are far beyond the story telling, and laundry list of “things to-do”, just to infuriate and agonize a player’s patience and attention span.

Are you actually trying to sell a product, or make something so goddamn miserable you have no choice but to pull out your wallet? this Korean mindset of money and gaming is very disgusting, and no I do not mean to alienate or finger point at a race or identity of a person, based on that, it makes no difference. But the fact is clear, these specific games are a cash crop, and they all come flooding from Korea and America seems to eat it up like an all you can eat buffet. And the supposed kings of the games, look more like deplorable apathetic wastes of potential in my book.

Cmon are you fucking kidding me?! you actually want to ingrain in a person psychology a thing of labor as a simulation that they purvey into a video game? I think we are heading into an avalanche and it’s no wonder; we are training our eager youthful minds for their own destruction.

I think the MOBA genre and MMO are an actual equitable genre and have a benefit and purpose, but it must be much more focused around gearing people into competitive play, not lethargic, apathy.

Yes, I do I suppose I went off point, considering this was at the beginning to do with the whole mandatory necessity to have real physical currency to advance in a video game, in which will nerf you significantly compared to others. I think I’m just about all out of air. I will say, at least they do have a “all purpose” pvp…. so, I cannot completely fault them, they do indeed have a hell of a game, and it is great and fun. And for a meager $10 selling price, you do get more than your money worth. So yes, this is a rant, and not meant to reinvent the wheel by any means, but maybe just some word language to get people thinking in a more ethical and purpose driven way. Happy gaming!
