For some reason the majority of “christians” are quick to judge and slow to watch and ask.
For me when I was lost in my sin and was hurting, I found sevin and his message and music was a huge refuge for me. And not once did I judge him or critic him for using the language he does.
I personally wish/pray that people would use more every day language and speak openly and honestly. I cannot count how many times, I see people who speak with such a muzzle on, and then when in comfort of friends open up and speak more explicitly. Be honest with others and most of all yourself! you are not fooling God.
On a side note this is the new Sevin album, and its more in a direction of gospel/rap/hip hop. But one thing about Sevin is that his lyrics are some of the deepest and most real and touch on issues and politics that a lot of people are scared to speak about.
A little softer than I am used to, but its catching on with me. I enjoy it.
