This is some fascinating tech, and not something I am taking lightly. The relationship with the human mind and the world, is nothing new. The only question I have is whether or not this does hold any truth and the tech does accurately show images from your mind.
I think in the case of the government they are overwhelmingly wanting to involve themselves more intimately with its citizens. Alarmingly as the world tries to become God, we are now pulling ourselves away from God Himself, and losing our true identity.
I would love to see a video interpreting and accurately showing my dreams. Do I think that some kind of AI is able to do? no.
Just as men and women use AI to answer their deepest and darkest questions, its riddled in the machine and farther and farther away from God. Its depressingly evil, and more convoluted in lies and deception then actually solving anything.
