The man pictured here is Jason he was the person responsible for a lot of the groundwork and development of the band Dying Fetus, and if we are being honest, probably the main reason I paid them any attention to begin with.
While the earliest efforts were downright visceral and hate incarnate, possibly bordering on downright offensive for even my vocabulary. Maybe that has more to do with original and sole component of the band today John Gallagher, that is the guy who does the cookie monster supreme super low gutturals, that the band is known for.

This band was hot on the foot of politics, religion and a lot to do with society and even philosophy. They were actually the one’s responsible for turning me onto the writings and dialogue of Noam Chomsky. I had one hand in the bible, and the other into shit I had no idea about, but it brought to me new intellectual ideas and themes previously unknown.
What made this band so profound and motivating to me was the message first and then music.
I think Jason had found his time in Dying Fetus as complete and over. Enter Misery Index, and to me this band absolutely catapulted not only musically but also lyrically and themes.

Where others are talking about fiction in horror movies, or even real life murder and death. They talked about these themes but more on in a realistic sense. Tackling issues and views that do indeed RETALIATE and OVERTHROW!
Me being a Christian he would no doubt laugh at me, and criticize just like his lyrics do. Its nothing new under the sun. And the psalms and proverbs all describe this and tell it actually how it is.
