This band caught my radar when I heard some singles released on their bandcamp in participation for the new album. I am actually impressed with what I am hearing here.
Doom-sludge metal a genre I am not too affluent in, so forgive me if this has been heard or done before. But for my ears, this actually both inspires and interests me. Guttural vocals and angry barking, layered with guitars and melodies. It is doom Afterall, so the thing chugs along in a slow fashion, but does keep a good a temp and speed.
Lyrically apparently its a sci fi/fiction take on space and the end of the world. “heavily inspired by early 20th-century pulp science fiction”.
