My history with POD goes back, waaaay back! probably into 90s if I can even remember right. If you ask me, the best album or I am sorry it was an EP. It was the Payable on Death EP. This is the pinnacle and best of their song. Don’t get me wrong, their discography is flawless. Sonny his voice is strong and mighty, and the brother loves Jesus and is not ashamed of it, one bit! that is more to say than for myself and for a lot of others.
I don’t give them enough respect to be honest. They got their fame, mtv wanted to run them through the satanic empire, but their wisdom and faith kept them solid and absent of it, thank God!
I still remember when I was riding in my sisters car, and “bullet the blue sky” was playing, and right and there a vehicle collided and hit us.
I wasn’t harmed, neither was my sister. OR at least I think that is how it went. What was most distressing about this ordeal and matter, was that the police showed up, and they put me in the back of a cruiser and shut the door. There was in a car accident and I was trapped in that isolated box, anyone who has been arrested knows what I am talking about.
I even had the opportunity to watch POD live, I saw them at Cornerstone 00 or 99… I cannot even remember the accurate date. It was a shame, some knuckleheads in the crowd were enjoying synthetic drugs, I think maybe LSD. Well they got injured and it actually stopped the show.
You know what POD did? they stopped and started a worship set! these guys were not going to let the devil win, they gave praise and honor to the most high God! and praise Jesus for this.
When I see the crooked and misbehaving cowards, the army of satan. I cannot and will not tolerate or accept it. Especially the cowards that know better. I am speaking specifically about the members and the band Underoath.
Thankfully we have bands of integrity and who are willing to share the love and the faithfulness of God. Jesus doesn’t over fame and fortune no! He does one better, He teaches you how to fish. He gives you the skills and the necessary means to provide for yourself and your family.
