She was the narrator from Dark Souls. I never played through the later games, but Dark Souls IS and WAS a favorite and continues to be.
Its really hard to imagine a game had the ability to capture that essence and memory of the games of old. Sure now today, youtube and twitch and all of the needless coverage and “fan fare” that over saturates every avenue of this hobby.
When I was growing up, gamers were the small circle of my friends in the neighborhood and at school. And all of the countless video games magazines I read.
Now you go to look at your favorite game, you barely were able to beat. You see a 10 year old beat it on a drum set, or maybe they were blindfolded? or they played through the entire thing without taking damage etc.
I digress! well this is homage to Pik-Sen Lim her voice and narration really made this game so memorable to me.
