Anyone else remember middle and even high school? I do, and it was about as fun as trying to find a place in any online gaming community. Think outside of the box, or have an opinion that doesn’t reflect the quota or majority, you are ousted and fall between the cracks. The community and player base of BDO is no different.
And for the most part others suffer the same. There are rare exceptions, one of which I remember actually enjoying was Diablo II in the earlier days, and around its inception. Today anime has become the common denominator and it rules all.

Browse any streamers today, and you are going to find things like this all over the site. This abomination and cancer is what is now known today as “vtubing” or “vtubers”. Its what is known as using an anime character and its now more or less your alter ego, or visible identity, accompanying your own voice, or maybe the use AI or some kind of virtual voice to mask their own voice. Whatever the case its, distracting and lazy.

The ecosphere of gaming and video games is synonymous, after all its an art and style originating and popularized in Japan.
Recalling the days of old, when I first saw Macross, Vampire Hunter D or Fist of the North Star. Even into even more graphic work like Angel Cop, Wicked City and numerous others. It was much more akin to traditional heterosexuality and was presented adult in nature. None of this big eyed little girls wearing scantily clad outfits, which brings to mind why any of this isn’t banned or outlawed in the first place.

The fact of the matter is that the LGBTQ community is pressuring practices such as podophilia, maybe even zoophilism. Did I ever imagine in my lifetime, that the closet where this kind of behavior exists, would become popular culture? not in a million years.
Back to the topic of BDO, the aforementioned is a part of the language and topic of discussion in many of its players.
Gone are the days where men could be men. But now its men who now think they are females. And the females are all adorned and worshipped by thirty boys and men, who all shill their life savings to them, just for a mention of their name in chat.

I always liked mmorpg’s and enjoyed the aspect of pvp, endless hours grinding to achieve better gear. But now gaming has become a monetary hobby, that allows people to play for 10+ hours a day and night, and they get income from it. For those working the same amount of hours some even 7 days a week, are left with minimal time to catch up and compete anymore.
And now it comes to great reflection and regard, that Black Desert much like any other mmorpg is indeed not only a waste of time, but also a huge dent in your dignity and self esteem. Simply put, DO NOT play them.
