I was thinking about this last night, when I see how the state of the game in north america crumbles. Its evidently been known that the company was bought and sold to tencent. If this is not true than please let me know what the situation is.
I also know for certain that my computer suffers from innumerable circumstances and I do not like the idea of changing settings in my bios to allow riot to install and have security features in my computer.
Something I don’t think you, or many others are aware of, is that your computer is not private and its not your own personal workspace. You have products from google, Microsoft even the independent software independently released Linux distros are from other persons. I myself, can make software, and could have nefarious intentions in mind to compromise or infiltrate your computer. Hell, even the antivirus and supposed protective tools and software are in themselves virus and intrusive spam and not helpful!
All of this aside, the question at hand did Riot sell out? and for me to figure out that answer I have to ask why does league of legends in America not require it users to supply government and/or individual identification to play its game like in Korea?
Why does league of legends have a ranking system from iron (terrible) to challenger (professional) and there is no lick of a difference in the gameplay? debatable? I have watched challenger level players, play on iron/bronze elo accounts and lose games.
I do understand the game has smurf accounts and in that does introduce the problem of maybe even the player yourself are new to the game and are actually playing against a person who is professional level at the game.
The game itself and multiplayer competitive gaming as a whole is becoming nothing more than a monopoly and a joke.
I don’t know if Riot sold out, I do like the game, while I have encountered its faults. Particularly with the overtly sexual and exploitative and perverted intentions. It does distract you, and it does get your mind in the gutter. I am here to play a video game, not get my rocks off. And on that topic, I want it to be with my wife! and not somebody else’s either! I do apologize if I was flirting or acting inappropriate to you, I was young and stupid and naive, and now I am a grown man and I do realize not every woman here is for me.
Christ and bible reveals to me these things, not man, not AI! and not your myth or folk tales either. A lot of people today treat their comic books, video games, anime and tv/movies like they have some kind of power greater than the bible and the wisdom of God.
Ok I am running way off topic now, and will end this now. Riot and League of Legends is a fun game, I play it because to me its like a game of chess or checkers or any other game even starcraft or red alert command and conquer, age of empires, settlers of catan…
