I was watching an episode of Bobby’s world randomly and something occurred to me that, hadn’t before and it was the thought that times past seemed and looked a helluva lot better and more sincere than what we are seeing today. And I dont mean, it’s because my eyeballs have aged to 40, I mean that in all actuality life and entertainment just seemed to present itself on a better vantage point.
And what I think made it so great, is the fact that humans as a whole knew of the objective things and principles of life a lot better. For instance, in regard to sexuality and the whole identity of Male and Female. There was none of this business of imaginary words taking precedence of one’s own identity, and the queers and the homos knew very well, that their propensity to certain perversions, was much better kept behind closed doors and the closet was the best place to keep it.
You see we aren’t evolving as a species or a race, we are actually devolving into a less and worse outcome of our earlier ancestors. And it’s very disheartening and distracting to think about.
I suppose either old age, or some psycho hiding in the shadows will dismiss me from my grandeur thoughts, but for better or worse, I’d much rather be sitting back watching harmless television shows about normal routine things families and friends do!
